The Management
storyline
Cirque Du Psycho is a world-renown circus troupe, which first originated in France in the year 1692. It has a reputation for excellence and out-of-the-box performances. Recently, however, people have stopped coming to the Circus for some unknown reason. Some say it was the result of a freak accident during a live performance. Others have claimed that the Circus is cursed. Whatever the reason, the Circus has fallen into disrepute, something that the current owner of the Circus, The Boss, is trying to change.
Under the orders of The Boss, the Circus Management has been extensively monitoring and implementing radical changes in the structure of the Circus. Apprentices are being recruited from all over the world to inject vibrancy and freshness to this tight-knit Circus family. Mentors have been assigned to these Apprentices to train them, and it is the hope of The Boss that these promising Apprentices would be able to restore the Circus to its former glory.
However, all that glitters is not gold. Beneath the bustle and cheer of Circus life, several performers harbour dark secrets that could threaten the very existence of the Circus itself?/br>

FAQ
Joining our camp
Am I eligible for the camp?
As long as you are a freshman matriculating in August 2010, or a current student from NUS, regardless of your major, you are eligible to join our circus of psychology.
Can I still join the camp if I am not going to be/unsure about majoring in Psychology?
Yes, definitely! We welcome campers intending to major in any discipline! Even if you are not intending to major in Psychology, this will be a great opportunity to learn more about this discipline through fun games and enriching talks! You will also get to meet new friends, seniors, and have fun together.
If I join the camp, does it mean that I will definitely get to major in Psychology?
Nope. Psychology Camp 2010 is a social camp organized by NUS Psychology Society, a student society consisting of mostly psychology students. The camp was planned with the intention of allowing freshies to learn more about the discipline and to come together to meet like-minded peers and seniors. Participating in the camp do not guarantee that you get to major in Psychology.
To declare a major in Psychology, you will have to meet the requirements set by the NUS Psychology Department. For more information, please go to http://www.fas.nus.edu.sg/psy/prospective/std_prospective.html
Do I need to have any previous knowledge about Psychology to join this camp?
No, this is a fun and interactive camp for freshies to get to know seniors and fellow batch-mates.
The camp will also serve as a platform for you to find out more about Psychology as a discipline. Rest assured that there won be quizzes and puzzles of any sort that demands your knowledge of Psychology.
Will it be a problem if I am going for the camp alone?
Of course not! The key objective of the camp is for you to get to know more people and make new friends. There are bound to be campers attending camps alone every year. So, no worries. Join us and our big family, and you will no longer be alone. =D
I am signing up for the camp with a friend. Can we request to be allocated to the same group?
Yes, you can request to be allocated to the same group with your friend. Just indicate your friend name on the top right hand corner of your registration form. We will try to group you together as much as possible, however we cannot guarantee this due to logistical reasons.
About our camp
What will we be doing at the camp?
If you are a freshie
You will be participating in various games, all specially designed to allow you to learn more about NUS, university life and Psychology while having lots of fun! Other than games, there will also be enriching activities (such as CORS bidding simulation and seniors?sharing sessions) that will be extremely informative and beneficial to you as freshman.
If you are a senior
Similarly, you will be participating in various games, that will enable you to meet more people and make new friends. In addition, you could share your experiences and undergraduate life with the freshmen and provide insights and guidance for their upcoming undergraduate life.
Is it an overnight camp? Do I have to stay for all the nights?
Yes, it is an overnight camp. As such, we would highly encourage you to bunk in with your fellow campers. It completes your camp experience and you get to experience hall life first hand!
